Scheduled infrastructure maintenance on July 20, 2026

BotShade will undergo scheduled infrastructure maintenance (Part 1) on Monday, July 20, 2026, starting at 13:00 JST for up to four hours. Due to workload and safety considerations, part of the originally-planned work has been split off into a Part 2 window on or after July 28, 2026 (the exact date will be announced separately once fixed). All services, including bot execution, will be paused during the maintenance window, but all customer data will be preserved in full.

Thank you for using BotShade.

We will be carrying out scheduled infrastructure maintenance to improve the stability and reliability of BotShade. All BotShade services will be paused during this work, and we would like to share the details with you in advance.

Table of contents:

Overview

We will carry out scheduled infrastructure maintenance (Part 1) beginning at 13:00 JST on Monday, July 20, 2026 (a Japanese public holiday). The work is expected to take up to four hours, and the service is scheduled to resume no later than 17:00 JST on the same day.

We had originally planned to complete the entire operation in a single window on July 20. However, given the workload involved and to prioritize service quality and operational safety, we have decided to split part of the work into a Part 2 maintenance window scheduled for on or after July 28, 2026. As a result, the Part 1 window on July 20 has been shortened from the originally-announced maximum of six hours to a maximum of four hours. The exact date and time of Part 2 are still being finalized and will be announced separately, promptly (within a few days). See “Splitting the work into two maintenance windows” below for details.

We have chosen to run this work on a public holiday to minimize the impact on our customers. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Splitting the work into two maintenance windows

Our original plan was to complete the full operation in a single window on July 20, 2026. However, the workload turned out to be larger than initially estimated, and to prioritize service quality and operational safety we have decided to move part of the work into a Part 2 maintenance window on a later date. As a result, the Part 1 window on July 20 has been shortened from the originally-announced maximum of six hours to a maximum of four hours.

Date of Part 2: Some date on or after July 28, 2026. The exact date and time are still being finalized and will be announced separately, promptly (within a few days).

Technical details of why the work was split will not be disclosed in this notice for the same security reasons as the maintenance work itself. We appreciate your understanding.

The scope of Part 2 will also be planned work to sustain and improve the stability, reliability, and security of the platform. Handling of your data (a complete backup taken before the work begins, and no deletion or modification during the work) will follow the same policy as this Part 1 window.

Service impact

The following will be unavailable during the maintenance window:

  • Dashboard sign-in and all dashboard operations
  • Existing bot execution and command response
  • New account registrations
  • All features, including BotShader (AI features)

The landing page (this site) and the public documentation will remain accessible as usual.

Handling of your data

While bots will not run during the maintenance window, all customer data will be preserved in full.

The following is retained:

  • Bot configurations, flow definitions, and command definitions
  • Linked Discord server information
  • Dashboard account information and usage history

A complete backup of your data will be taken before the work begins. No data will be deleted or modified. When the service resumes, you will be able to continue exactly from where you left off.

About the maintenance work

The primary purpose of this maintenance is to perform updates on our server infrastructure (the platform layer). This is planned work to sustain and improve the stability, reliability, and security of the platform so that we can continue to provide the service over the long term.

Please note that the specific details of the work (individual components, versions, procedures, etc.) will not be disclosed in this notice for security reasons. Publishing the internal composition of our infrastructure could potentially provide hints that would benefit a malicious third party. We appreciate your understanding.
